As sure as God made little green apples...

This is my leather jacket. This is the scarf I wear with my leather jacket. When I wear the jacket the scarf is wrapped around my neck and the ends tucked inside the zipped up jacket.

See that little dangly thing on the left sleeve? It is a zipper pull.  A close-up of the zipper pull will also show that the ring connecting the pull to the zipper is quite small and there is the tiniest of openings in that connector ring...

So you know, as sure as God made little green apples, my scarf got caught in that itty-bitty little gap. Take another look at the scarf, it is all open work. Somehow, someway, one of those open squares slipped right into that itty-bitty gap, and then refused, REFUSED, I tell you, to slip back out.

At one point, as I was trying to disengage the scarf I actually managed to pull a whole chunk of that scarf through that little ring. I finally managed to disengage scarf from zipper pull ring, with just some minor damage to the scarf, but I'll be damned trying to figure out how it happened in the first place.
