Kind of a crappy day, overcast, windy, chilly at least it's not snowing here like it is just a little further north.

We walked up to the store and back this morning - I posted this on FB about our walk:
Me: When did drivers in Northern Virginia become so considerate of pedestrians?
Husband: We should check the plates, they're probably from out of state.
It is the day after Easter and despite being brought up in an ostensibly Christian church, I don't really get this whole Jesus thing. We were a "God" church, not a "Jesus" church, and while lip-service was paid to the conventional trappings of Christianity what was taught, was: You've got the 10 Commandments, You've got the Golden Rule, There's God, There's you - work it out.  Oh, and the church was very big on 1 Corinthians 13.

No Adam and Eve, no Garden of Eden, therefore no original sin.
Virgin birth? Nah, that's not a happening thing.
Jesus of Nazareth - a rabbi whose mission was to bring the Jews back to Judaism, and by extension, God.

Or in the words of Spike Lee - "Do the right thing" Comes down to it, that's all you really need to know and do.
